City of Greeley Ballot Issue
Dog Ordinance

  • The Greeley Kennel Club urges you to:

  • Vote NO on Ballot Question 200:
    • This ordinance brands specific breeds such as Rottweilers and Pit Bulls as vicious. It unfairly targets good dogs and responsible owners because these dogs belong to a banned breed.
    • It allows dogs in parks with athletic fields and sports acitivities with potential for health and safety issues.
    • It allows potentially untrained dogs off-leash.

  • Vote YES on Ballot Question 2A.
    • Allow ALL dogs in city parks.
    • Protect parks with athletic fields and sports activities.
    • Keep dogs on-leash in parks (except the fenced Rover Park).
